Employee Benefits

The Klamath Tribes offer a competitive benefit package for employees. Employees are eligible for benefits the first day of the month following date of hire. Employee benefits are at the discretion of the employer and may be revised as necessary. Currently The Klamath Tribes offer the following employee benefits:

$50,000 Life Insurance with option for employee buy up
Equivalent of 3% of salary paid into employee’s 401(k) retirement plan

16 hours of Paid Personal Leave per year
Sick Leave Accrual (4 hours per pay period; 26 pay periods per year)
Annual Leave Accrual (based on years of service; 0-5 years = 4 hours; 6-10 years = 6 hours; 10+ years = 8 hours per pay period; 26 pay periods per year)
Part-time employees working 20-34 hours per week receive partial benefits
Some positions may qualify for Indian Health Service Student Loan Repayment
Fully paid STD and LTD coverage.
Telemedicine is provided at no cost to employees and families.
Vision
Supplemental insurance coverage available such as critical care, accidental, hospitalization, etc.
